2025 Cheerleading Pop Warner

Welcome to the 2025 Cheerleading Registration for the Weston Warriors in Weston, Florida! We're excited to have your child join us for another great season. Here's a summary of the key details to help you through the registration process:

Key Details:
  • Conditioning Start: Voluntary (but recommended) conditioning starts in late Spring, at Tequesta Trace Park, on Artificial Turf Field A.
  • Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM (arrive 15 minutes early).
  • Schedule: Usually on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please check your email for any updates or cancellations.
  • What to Wear: Shorts, athletic shirts, cheer shoes (or sneakers; no converse or other high tops), and bring a labeled water bottle.
  • Team Formation: Teams are typically formed by late July. Your child’s coach will provide specific practice details once teams are formed.
  • Regular Season Practices: Starting July 15th, teams practice Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:30PM to 8 or 8:30PM (depending on the team).
  • Sideline Cheer: All teams cheer at football games on Saturdays starting mid-late August.
  • Competitions: Local Competition is in mid-October. For teams that qualify, Regional Championships are Thanksgiving weekend in Orlando and National Championships are in early December in Orlando. *Additional expenses incurred*
  • Medical Clearance: It’s your responsibility to ensure your child is medically cleared to participate.
  • Documents: Any required documents will be requested by a volunteer staff member before the season starts.
  • Equipment Deposit: A uniform deposit will be required at the time of equipment distribution. This helps ensure proper care and prompt return of our gear.

Volunteer Opportunities:
We’re always looking for enthusiastic coaches and volunteers to help create a positive experience for all children. If you’re interested in volunteering, please complete the volunteer section of the registration form.

Fundraising Requirement:
To help cover the operational costs of the program (since registration fees only cover 2/3), each participant is required to sell a minimum of $100 in raffle tickets. These tickets will be distributed early in the season. Prizes range from $1,500 cash for 1st place, $750 cash for 2nd place to a Big Screen TV The top seller will also receive a Big Screen TV. If you don’t meet the $100 minimum, the shortfall may be deducted from your Equipment/Uniform Deposit.
 
Registration Fees:
  • Payment is required to complete registration.
  • Transaction Fees apply.
  • Registration Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE once processed.
